Morgens um 5 Uhr ging die Fahrt mit dem Bus los.
Versorgt mit Frühstück, Getränken, Kissen machten wir uns auf den Weg mit dem Bus nach New York.

Fast ausgeschlafen kam die ganze Gruppe nach knapp 4,5 h in New York und Manhattan an.
Mit dem Bus von Norden her kommend ging es übe East Harlem und der Upper East Side am Central Park vorbei nach Downtown.
Well rested the whole group arrived just under a 4.5 hours bus ride in New York and Manhattan.
With the bus coming from the north into town, we passed East Harlem and the Upper East Side, passed near Central Park into Downtown.
Unser Bus Dropp-off war am Rockefeller Center. Ab jetzt ging alles zu Fuß - fast 6,5 Meilen liefen wir an diesem Tag und ... wir können Euch sagen: wir haben viel gesehen und erlebt.

2. Stop: Time Square
Vom Time Square aus ging es über den Broadway zurück auf die 5th Ave und zum 3. Stop: New York Public Libary.
From Times Square we went down on Broadway back to 5th Ave and our 3rd Stop: New York Public Library.
4. Stop: Empire State Building
Dann führte uns die Route durch Chelsea, Noho, Soho bis nach China Town.

Then the route took us through Chelsea, Noho, Soho and Chinatown.
Beim 5. Stop: City hall trafen wir wir alle aufeinander und liefen dann zu unserem nächsten und 6. Stop: Ground Zero.
At the 5th Stop: City hall, we met each other again, and we all went to our next stop.
Von hier ging es noch zum
7. Stop: Wall Street und die dann entlang bis ans Pier 11 am East River wo wir dann alle einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Brooklyn Bridge und Manhattan Bridge hatten.

Letzter Stop war dann ganz im Süden von Manhattan: Terminal Manhattan der Staten Island Ferry.
Hier nahmen wir dann die kostenlose Fähre nach Staten Island.
Die Überfahrt dauerte 25min und ist nicht nur weil sie nix kostet ein Muss, sondern weil man bei dieser Überfahrt einen wahnsinnigen Blick auf Manhattan und auch auf die Freiheitsstatue hat.

Last stop was the very south of Manhattan: Terminal Manhattan of the Staten Island Ferry.
Here we took the free ferry to Staten Island.
The crossing took 25 minutes and not just because it costs nothing is a must, but because during the ride you do have a wonderful view of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
Gegen 7 pm bestiegen wir alle zufrieden aber auch erschöpft unseren Bus, der uns sicher und wohlauf gegen Mitternacht am College in Nashua absetzte.
At 7 pm we all got happy but exhausted on our bus. Bus driver took us back safe and well to the college in Nashua which we received around midnight.
We are waiting for new photos and are very curious how all of U like New York.... wish U lots of fun and impressions.......
